Blue Symphony is an information technology and marketing consultancy based in the Kansas City metropolitan area. I/T specialties include web development, custom programming, and custom database solutions. Marketing services include strategic planning, brand development, social media campaign development and execution, design, and other online and offline design services.

We are seeking a Technology Associate intern who completes a wide range of technology-focused tasks as well as clerical tasks. The ideal candidate is interested in technical details, works well independently, wants to learn new things, and can complete a variety of tasks quickly and accurately…

Responsibilities:

Provide technical and administrative/clerical support to consultants and project teams.

Examples of tasks:

Content and functionality updates to websites
Set up email accounts and forwarders
Confirm accurate completion of support ticket requests
Notify clients of completion of support ticket requests
Set up and remove login credentials
Add social media posts
Copy websites from one server to another
Account backups
Software updates
Set up web analytics
Document processes
Graphics creation and editing
Copy, file, scan paperwork
Other clerical or technology tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Good written and oral communications
Good planning and organization
Self-motivated and self-disciplined
Proficient in Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Detail-oriented
Able to meet tight deadlines regularly
Aptitude and willingness to learn new skills and concepts and apply them quickly
Flexible schedule
